Appointments: care navigation, cancellation, interpreter and late arrival rules
When you call for an appointment, reception asks for a brief outline of the issue. The official page says this is care navigation: staff help route you to the right professional, but they do not make clinical decisions.
Example: “I have had worsening chesty cough for five days and I am breathless walking upstairs.”
Reception may route you to GP, practice nurse, social worker, mental health professional or practice-based pharmacist.
If you require an interpreter to attend with you, notify reception so they can arrange this.
The practice warns that patients who fail to attend three appointments in 12 months may be removed from the practice list.
The official page says if you are late you may not be seen, and may not be able to rearrange until the next working day except for a medical emergency.

Different blood, urine, scan and x-ray results can take different times.
The official result page says to call between 11:00 and 12:30.
Reception can pass on information but cannot clinically interpret results.
