The Right Channel for Every Question
medicalpracticeuk.org/ is an editorial directory. We cannot give medical advice, register you with a GP, book an appointment, or access any record. This page explains exactly what we can help with, what we cannot, and where to send each kind of question.
Life-threatening emergency: call 999.
Urgent but not life-threatening: call NHS 111 or use 111 online at 111.nhs.uk.
Mental health crisis: call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7), or NHS 111 and select the mental health option.
Suspected poisoning or overdose: call 999 or NHS 111.

- Page URL the issue is about (full URL from your address bar)
- Brief description of what is wrong or what you are requesting
- For dead links: practice name + the link that did not work
- For practice changes: what changed + a link to the source

Do not include your NHS number, medical history, symptoms, or any health detail. We do not need it, we cannot act on it, and clinical questions must go to your GP practice or NHS 111.
